This November, I plan to: 1) write the lit review for my dissertation proposal, 2) finish drafting a manuscript that I've been working on with my advisor, and 3) begin to revise a manuscript for resubmission. I plan to hold myself accountable by setting weekly goals and attending drop-in sessions every week.

This month I need to revise three manuscripts and write extended abstracts for them for an upcoming conference. I also have a class project due at the end of the month, and another conference paper that I plan to submit by November 30th. I'll work on all of these at GSWG drop in sessions every week and attend Saturday retreats so I can hold myself accountable with other writers!

This month I plan to finally, once and for all, for reals, get my diss proposal into a beautiful, presentable state, get my proposal slides together, and polish off the final edits on my disaster recovery article and send into journal. Really, this last task is tiny, but I need to get it done, and will be a nice "break" from my dissertation!

Going to finish the first chapter of my dissertation proposal this month. I've been sitting on way too many ideas for the proposal, so it is about time I pick one and stick with it. Knocking out the first chapter will make it more real.

This month I'm finally going to finish writing my paper from my Master's project work! And hopefully if I get in edits and suggestions from my professors, finish working on them as well. A bit ambitious, but it's been a couple of months since I finished my Master's, so it's about time I get this done. Work mode on :-D Wish me luck!
