4/2/2015 0 Comments April 02nd, 2015Swing-Out Awards - Finalist! In our first year, we have been growing quickly, and experimenting with ways to get students engaged and prioritizing their academic writing. This week, we heard from Student Activities that the Graduate Student Writing Group is a finalist for the 2014-2015 swing out awards in the categories of Best New Organization and Best Graduate Organization. This is very exciting! We also earned distinguished status for Individual Opportunity in the Pillars of the Forty Acres program. All this amounts to more exposure for our group, perhaps additional funds, an many more opportunities for our members to get to work!
We have been added as a participating organization at the UT Student Organization Fair for Monday, January 26th, 2015! Come check out our table, grab some freebies, and bring along a friend, office mate, or lab mate to learn about the Graduate Student Writing Group!
