What does it mean to be a Facilitator?

Every writing session needs a facilitator.  The facilitator is the person who:
  • arrives at the room 5-10 minutes early
  • makes sure the room is open and ready for the writing session (this may involve getting a key or asking the room's previous occupants to leave)
  • sets out a sign-in sheet
  • and then gets down to working on his or her own writing project!

That's all it takes!

By making a larger commitment to the group and promising to facilitate a writing session, you're making a larger commitment to your own writing.  You can even pick the time of your session and suggest a location on campus.  If you're interested in facilitating, please let us know!
